Navigating the Nerves: Lessons from Starting My Own Business
Starting my own business, The Traveling Project Manager, was one of the most exciting yet nerve-wracking decisions of my life. Even with a solid foundation in project management, there was still so much to learn. I quickly realized that running a business is an ongoing learning experience filled with unexpected challenges and opportunities.
Since launching my business, I’ve restructured my services more than once and even completed a full rebranding. Each of these changes taught me valuable lessons about resilience, flexibility, and the importance of listening to my clients’ needs. I’ve come to understand that the entrepreneurial journey is about growth and adaptation, and it’s okay to pivot and make changes as you go.
I want to share these lessons with you so that you can feel more confident in your own business journey. My goal is to be a cheerleader for your success, not a gatekeeper. There’s enough room for all of us to thrive, and by supporting one another, we can make the entrepreneurial path a little less daunting. Remember, it’s all about learning, growing, and finding joy in the process.
