From TFF to The TPM, a Rebranding

Make it stand out

Here’s a little fun fact: The Traveling Project Manager (TPM) isn’t my first business. I actually started one prior. Now, when I say “started” a business, I say that so loosely. There was documentation and a website, but it was unorganized, and I was overwhelmed. It was called The Full Field (TFF).

When I first launched The Full Field in 2020, it began a new chapter in my career. I started my second act in my profession. After years of working in corporate environments managing state and federal funding for clinical behavioral analytic services, I knew I needed a change. Burnout wasn’t just knocking at my door; it had made itself at home. The rigid structure, endless red tape, and lack of creativity drained me. I craved the freedom to build something of my own.

The Full Field was my first step into entrepreneurship, and like many entrepreneurs, I was driven by the idea of becoming my boss. There was something liberating about crafting my path, free from the constraints of corporate life. However, as I dove deeper into my business, I realized that my initial offerings weren’t hitting my envisioned mark. I had a website, a logo, and a mission statement, but something wasn’t clicking.

The Full Field was created with a broad scope, and while it gave me a platform to work from, I found myself spread too thin. I wasn’t niching down and had too vague of services. That made it hard to find the right opportunities. My services were scattered, and I didn’t have a clear direction. I knew something had to change if I wanted to create impactful work and offer value to the right audience.

That’s when the idea for The Traveling Project Manager started to take shape. I realized I needed to focus on what I was truly passionate about—helping creative digital agencies and solopreneurs bring their innovative ideas to life through project management. But before I could make this pivot, I knew I needed to upskill and bring more structure to my approach.

Transitioning from The Full Field to The Traveling Project Manager was no small feat. It took about 4-6 months to fully overhaul my business and create something aligned with my new vision.

One of the first steps was enrolling in a Project Management certification course. I wanted to ensure I had the right tools and knowledge to help my clients not only stay organized but thrive in their creative ventures. During this time, I also met with web and graphic designers, brand strategists, and business coaches who helped guide me through the rebranding process.

I redefined my services, focusing on delivering personalized, high-impact solutions. I wasn’t just offering task management but clarity and a roadmap to success. My goal became clear: to help digital agencies and solopreneurs turn their creative chaos into organized, actionable plans.

The rebranding involved a complete overhaul. I designed a fresh website, created new branding that reflected my values, and packaged my services in a way that resonated with the people I wanted to work with. It wasn’t just about offering more structure—it was about providing a solution that truly worked for my clients.

I wanted to focus on supporting individuals and teams with creative ideas, and need help organizing and executing them. This required more than just a name change. It required rethinking how I could deliver value in a way that would lead to real results for the businesses and entrepreneurs I worked with.

Looking back, the rebranding journey wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. What started as a broad business idea in The Full Field has now evolved into The Traveling Project Manager—a business that allows me to do what I love while helping others achieve their goals. It’s been a growth, learning, and refinement journey, but it has all been worth it.

Today, I’m proud to offer services that help my clients streamline their projects, stay organized, and succeed on their terms. Whether I’m helping a digital agency redesign a website, guiding the team through the launch of a new product, or working 1:1 with an individual idea.  I know I’m doing the work I was meant to do.
